La luz eres TÚ / YOU are the light

Porque hasta en los momentos de mayor oscuridad buscamos ese pequeño rayito de luz. No sé a ustedes pero a mí en lo personal me fascinan las luces. La luz representa tantas cosas positivas como esperanza, alegría, vida, comienzo. Ya sean los foquitos que adornan mi casa en navidad, una ciudad encendida por la noche, los fuegos artificiales en el cielo, las velitas en mi pastel de  cumpleaños o el resplandor del sol por las mañanas. Todas a final de cuentas, iluminadores de vida.

La vida me ha dado lecciones. ¿Y qué sentido tendría si no lo compartiera? En estos últimos años he llegado a sentir que las luces se apagan para mí un par de veces. Probablemente tú también has sentido eso alguna vez en tu vida. Pero son esos días de oscuridad en donde obtuve el mayor de los aprendizajes. La luz no se apaga si yo no lo permito.

Porque la luz soy YO, la luz eres TÚ.

La vida no se frena y el camino está lleno de obstáculos. Pero solo tengo dos opciones, brillar o apagar mi luz.

Como un pequeño homenaje a esta filosofía de vida les dejo estas fotos de un lugar que me hizo sentir fascinada. Curiosamente la mayoría de las personas que visitan el museo LACMA en Los Angeles, es por ver las Urban Lights. ….Y eso no es nada alejado a nuestra realidad, al igual que esos faroles,  mientras más luz irradies más personas querrán estar cerca de ti.

Even in the darkest moments we look for that little beam of light. I don’t know about you, but I personally love lights. To me light represents so many positive things, such as hope, life, beginning and joy. The lights that adorn my house in Christmas, the fireworks in the sky, the city lights at night, those candles on my birthday cake or even the sunshine in the mornings, they all illuminate life.
Life has taught me so many lessons. And what would be the point if I didn’t share them? In recent years I have come to feel that the lights go out for me a couple of times. You probably have felt that sometime in your life. But it was during those days of darkness where I got the greatest lesson. The light does not go out if I do not allow it.

Because I AM the light, YOU are the light.

Life does not slow down and the road is full of obstacles. But we only have two options, to shine or turn off our inner light.
As a small tribute to this philosophy of life I leave these photos of a place that made me feel fascinated. Curiously, most of the people who visit the LACMA museum in Los Angeles do it because they want to see the Urban Lights. …. That’s not far from our reality; just like those lanterns, the more light you radiate the more people will want to be near you.
